Tonight we attended another fundraiser for the Cincinnati Chapter of the National Canine Cancer Foundation - the third event in the group's Summer Paw Series. We had the opportunity to go to WagsPark in Newton, and this place is pretty much dog heaven. This park has plenty of room to run with other temperament-tested, healthy dogs, a pond to swim in, a dock to jump off, agility equipment, and a plethora of tennis balls. Wags Park also takes care of the humans with a bar in the park so you can enjoy a cool beverage while you watch your pup play.
Zooey had an absolute blast splashing around in the water and playing with her new dog friend, Zoey (it only got a little confusing). It was really nice seeing a large turnout. The event raised another $1,000 for the National Canine Cancer Foundation.
Because of the success seen with the Summer Paw Series, the Cincinnati Chapter has added a fourth event on Wednesday, September 17. Dogtoberfest will be held at Washington Park in honor of the ongoing Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.
